Helle Ruberg

President

Helle is a seasoned maritime leader with more than 45 years of experience across shipping, maritime safety, leadership development, and industry advocacy. A former Captain with A.P. Moller-Maersk and Ship Surveyor with the Danish Maritime Authority, she has dedicated her career to strengthening leadership and safety culture within the global shipping sector. As President and founding Vice President of WISTA Denmark, Helle has played a key role in advancing diversity, inclusion, and female leadership in maritime and logistics industries. Through executive leadership roles, consulting, and mentoring, she continues to contribute to the development of resilient maritime organisations and confident future leaders.

Larissa Toledo

Vice President

Larissa is a leading international shipping lawyer with over 15 years of experience in the maritime, offshore and energy sector. She is currently the General Counsel of Stillstrom A/S, Maersk’s pioneering offshore charging company, where she drives legal, regulatory and commercial frameworks for the electrification of vessels, ports, and green infrastructure. Larissa works with authorities and industry stakeholders to structure projects, negotiate contracts, and navigate complex regulatory regimes such as IMO and EU requirements. She holds an LL.M. in Maritime Law from the University of Oslo, is a certified Green Energy Expert Consultant, and actively contributes to industry forums shaping the future of zero-emission technology in shipping.

Iris Kleinkorte

Networking & Events Board Member

Iris is a leader in the maritime and logistics sector with focus on compliance matters. She works closely with commercial, finance, legal, IT, and ESG teams to strengthen regulatory resilience and ensure robust governance across international shipping activities, while also leading a globally distributed compliance team. She is currently Head of Compliance at Monjasa and previously held senior compliance and legal positions at NTG and A.P. Moller – Maersk, where she developed global integrity due diligence frameworks, supported major M&A and joint venture projects, and advanced sanctions and trade compliance systems across complex logistics and maritime operations. Across her career, she has contributed to strengthening compliance standards, reducing regulatory risk, and embedding ethical and sustainable practices across global shipping supply chains.

Natalie Wong

Networking & Events Board Member

Natalie is an experienced maritime legal and contracts professional with extensive international practice in shipping law, offshore operations, and commercial contracting. She currently works at BIMCO, where she develops and delivers standard shipping contracts and clauses addressing key industry challenges such as decarbonisation, sanctions, and regulatory change. Natalie contributes to shaping practical, globally used contractual frameworks that enhance clarity, reduce risk, and support efficient and future-ready maritime operations. Previously, she has held senior legal roles at NTG, Maersk Supply Service, and Gorrissen Federspiel, advising shipping, offshore, and logistics clients on complex commercial contracts, disputes, M&A, and regulatory matters. She also brings prior experience as a solicitor in Australia, with a broad background in corporate and commercial law across multiple jurisdictions, strengthening her ability to support the global shipping industry with robust legal and contractual solutions.

Kirsten Wright

Networking & Events Board Member

Kirsten specialises in international commercial dispute resolution in the shipping and marine insurance sectors. She has a wealth of experience advising on casualty response and liabilities arising from collisions, groundings, explosions, salvage, General Average, injuries and fatalities at sea. She also regularly advises on complex contractual disputes relating to charter parties, bills of lading, vessel-sharing agreements, MOAs, cargo damage or contamination, and off-spec bunkers. Her experience managing major marine incidents in challenging jurisdictions has led her to advise kidnap and ransom, special risks, and war risks underwriters on issues arising from acts of war, unlawful detentions, extortions, kidnap and ransom events and crisis evacuations. 

Genia Møller

Partnerships Board Member

Genia is a business development and commercial professional with extensive experience across the marine industry. She has spent over a decade at Lindemann Performance Products developing and promoting lubrication and stop-leak solutions for subsea systems and vessel machinery, supporting improved reliability and efficiency in maritime operations. Her work bridges technical product innovation and market-driven business development, with a focus on practical solutions that enhance performance in the shipping and offshore sectors. Earlier in her career, she held roles in maritime sales, cruise and ferry services with Viking Line, as well as project management and marketing across international markets. Through this combination of technical, commercial, and customer-facing experience, she has contributed to strengthening maritime operations and supporting more efficient and sustainable shipping-related solutions. 

Sara Fonseca

Finance Board Member

Sara is a highly experienced maritime and energy industry professional. She has built an international career spanning shipping decarbonization, offshore logistics, supply chain management, and strategic partnerships. At the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, Sara has played a key role in advancing collaboration and innovation across the global maritime ecosystem, helping accelerate the transition toward sustainable shipping solutions. With leadership experience across Maersk, Total, DONG Energy, and Galp, she has contributed extensively to offshore operations, procurement strategy, logistics optimization, and complex stakeholder management within the shipping and energy sectors.

Laia Martin

Communications Board Member

Laia is a marketing professional with more than 6 years of experience building brands and B2B marketing strategies in the software and container shipping industries. She specializes in connecting strategic branding with commercial impact: from global awareness campaigns and account-based marketing to initiatives that strengthen customer loyalty and support sales growth. Beyond her role in WISTA Denmark, she volunteers at Catalans.dk, supporting cultural integration and community building.
