Wista International

WISTA International is an international organisation for the support and empowerment of women at management level, or otherwise decision-making positions, involved in the maritime
transportation, trade, and logistics sector. The objects for which the Association is established are:

• To close the gender leadership gap, by supporting women’s leadership and influence across all levels in the maritime, trading, and logistics sectors;
• To create awareness for the necessity of equal opportunities for all in the maritime, trading and logistics sectors;
• To grow and build a community amongst its members, facilitating the exchange of contracts, knowledge, information, experiences and opportunities;
• To promote opportunities the creation of business relationships amongst its Members;
• To provide a platform enabling the potential for the professional development of its Members; by providing access to education, training, and leadership opportunities; and
• To communicate or cooperate with other like-minded institutions and organisations worldwide in support of the Association.
